I don’t really know where to start with my round-up of what I saw yesterday – partly because the first time I listened to a Frankmusik track was at about 10pm on Tuesday night… mainly because I had seen a review of Confusion Girl on the Radio 1 Chartblog a few hours previously.
So, it was [...]

This is a site for all the gaming nerds and music nerds out there to combine together…
Basically, the site takes music and turns it into an 8-bit version of the original track, thus making every song sound like it was from a retro 80s or 90s video game. Genius, huh?
It works so well – and [...]

The fiesty pop sensation from Blackpool, Little Boots, is back with the second release from her critically acclaimed album ‘Hands.’
The song gained great publicity recently – being used exclusively as the theme for T4 On The Beach and one can certainly see why. The great storming synths at the start of the song set the [...]

DOWNLOAD: The latest music news, in bitesize form.

Buckley’s reaching Number One,
This Christmas time, we bought his song and we banished Cowell
And in our world of music we can spread a lesson of Jeff
Change the Official UK Chart at Christmas time!
But say a prayer
Pray for the other songs
At Christmas time it’s hard, [...]

In a wee bit of a turn of events, the old RickRoll for Number 1 idea has kind of died out… With Rick Astley now languishing down at #99 in the iTunes Chart, for him to even break the Top 40 come Sunday will be a miracle.
However, a new campaign has been in force all week, and [...]

So, as I reported t’other day, Alexandra Burke off of The X Factor has released her cover version of Hallelujah as the winners song. Despite this being a dead cert for the Christmas Number One spot, there’s plenty of competition that might possibly, maybe stop her…
Okay, I’ll admit that it’s highly unlikely that anyone else [...]

In a vote that involved over 8 MILLION phonecalls, the Winner of UK singing contest The X Factor was decided last night.
Alexandra Burke, 20, from North London was crowned the winner and takes home a £1 MILLION recording contract, along with the Christmas Number One single pretty much guaranteed.
The song she is singing as the [...]

So, a quick update just to let you know who went from this week’s X Factor.
There was only room for three acts in next Saturday’s final, and the acts returning are:
Alexandra Burke
Eoghan Quigg
and
JLS
Meaning that unofrtunatley, Diana Vickers has been booted off the show. Weird, considering she was probably thr favourite not very long ago…
I don’t [...]
